For The Live Event
You don’t need a YouTube account to just watch the show, but if you’d like to join us in the chat you’ll need to create a YouTube account, called a Channel. It’s just a free account linked to a Google account, and it only takes a few clicks to make. You’ll want to join us in the chat because that’s where the party is happening! There will be games and prizes too, so please join us.
To Bid/Donate
To bid on great auction items and make your Fund-A-Need donation,
Ideally, you’ll want two screens to enjoy the event properly. Use your smart phone or tablet to access the bidding page so you can nab your favorite Live Auction Item. Then use a bigger screen like your computer or a Smart TV to watch the show on YouTube. If you only have one screen handy, try opening two browser tabs or windows instead - one for YouTube and one for the bidding page.
Need Help?
Help Desk: volunteer@thefbsm.org and Call-in help will be available event day.
The Help Desk will open at 7:00PM to assist anyone who is experiencing trouble bidding or any other issues that may arise. The volunteers may need to take down your information and call you back if they are receiving many inquiries at once. Click here for a quick video teaching you how to bid using Greater Giving, Harvest Dinner’s auction software.
Why We Need You Tonight
Your support of the Food Bank @ St. Mary's is more important than ever. In addition to serving many populations that are especially vulnerable to Covid-19, we are also seeing a steady increase of non-working and barely-working people who are having to choose between buying food and paying their rent or mortgage, buying medicines, or paying their light bill.
No one should ever have to make these kinds of decisions. The Food Bank @ St. Mary's is here to relieve some of the pressure. We need your donations now more than ever so we can meet this growing need. Thank you for helping us turn hunger into hope!
