The Food Bank @ St. Mary’s is committed to supporting our community with hospitality, respect, and nutritious food. We do this through our ongoing programs:
Walk-In Program- Open three days per week, customers choose the foods that meet with their dietary and cultural preferences.
No-Cook Bags – Available during our Walk-In hours, these bags are filled with items that do not require a kitchen or refrigerator for storage. These bags are reserved for customers who are experiencing homelessness or otherwise without access to cooking facilities.
Baby Corner- Providing formula, baby food, diapers, car seats, strollers, toys, furniture, clothes & other accessories to parents of infants and toddlers.
Backpack Program - Providing school children at risk of hunger with a "backpack" of food weekly, including kid-friendly meals, to ensure they have nutritious food for the weekend.
Home Delivery Program – Providing nutritious food weekly to those who are unable to come to our Walk-In Program (or do not have anyone to come to the food bank for them) due to age, illness, injury, or disability.
Mobile Food Bank - Provides up an off-site distribution weekly at 5 partner agencies.
In 2019 alone, the Food Bank @ St. Mary’s distributed nearly 3 million pounds of food by:
